Just received speakers, their being used for home audio, using pioneer 650 watt receiver. installed in large ported boxes, and wired parallel for 8 ohm. They sound great, but the low end bass response is'nt what I hoped for in a 15" subwoofer. They advertise 1500 watts peak, then you get them and their 1000 watts peak, and 500 watts rms, NOT WHAT THEY ADVERTISED!! I've always been a huge fan of cerwin vega, and you cant go wrong with these subwoofers in a low end, low wattage sound system, but again, not exactly what I was hoping for. (p.s. they are already driving my wife nuts!!) I will be looking for an additional powered subwoofer to accent my home audio system as these just were not enough for my taste. Let me add though.... for the price... you wont find a better set of speakers than these cerwins.
