I am a fan of kenwood products and this is no let down. it has all the funtions you need for a good sound system. however, if I had it to do over, I would get the 503 model (the upgrade). I wish I had purchased one level up to a DPX 503. There are alot of programming features that are not available on this model, and the display is hard to read. The feature I miss the most is it does not give song and artist. Other than that it is great and I couldn't beat the price. The only difference being that the 503 has a usb port, which is AWESOME. Its what I primarily use it for 99% of the time. Its great, I just plug my flash drive in and play. It also looks really cool especially at night. I've never changed it from the demo mode where it changes colors, its my favorite one. The only gripe is that the tuner is messed up, but I think its because of the way I installed it, it doesn't matter to me because I don't use the tuner.I'd definitely buy another kenwood product, have had this for about 3 years with no problems. I've had the remote fall to the ground and break open at least a dozen times getting out of my car and forgetting it was on my lap, and its still in great shape. |
