I as yet have not found an MP4 format that it can detect let alone play wheather it be by SD card or USB connection. The DVD movie quality is great so is the radio with great base quality. I am confused about why they show the dimensions of the radio to be 12.3x9.4x4 when in fact it is 12.3x9.4x2.1 . They must have been thinking of the 4.3 inch screen. The unit is only 2.1 inches high at the face. The built-in Blue tooth works great. I had no trouble pairing my cell phone with it. Both ends of the conversation were clear and clean just like someone talking next to you. The radio does have a built in mic very clear. It has all the standard audio controls base,treble,midrange;however for a unit with such great diversity it has a poor EQ (equalization)settings, there are just 5 preset options to choose from including flat responce, no individual control of the different ranges like you would expect from a unit...
