I don't really know what the actual wattage is. But I don't really care. I was building a budget system, and this was the best amp for me. I have it pushing 2x Kenwood Kenwood KFCW3013 / KFCW3013PS / KFCW3013PS 12 Car Subwoofer 12" subwoofers wired at 2ohms. Even though they are in a tiny, 0.75 cube/sub box, they hit HARD. The amp barely even gets warm after bumping for 30-45 minutes. The build quality feels very sturdy. I'm pleased with the amp. Never had a Power Acoustik product before, but they have me as a customer! After trying to find a new amp just to upgrade, i tried a Hifonics 1000.1d, Crunch GPV2100.1 ground pounder, and this. The hifonics and this one are very similar due to the RMS it puts out at 2 ohms and they are class D amps, but the only problem is, is they dont hit that hard. I kept the crunch gpv, and sent this back the day after. The settings were hard to work with, cause i really couldnt tune it, and the gain control was more of an on/off switch going from no gain to 100% with a slight turn. Save your time and money, go for the GPV2100.1, its about the same price. |
