 Another Awesome Amp by Rockford!!!!!!!!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Rockford Fosgate Punch 200-Watt Stereo Amplifier (Electronics) I had this powerful little amp running some T142's in the dash and had to run it in HP mode to not distort the 4" woofer. Adjusted it to make those Power T1's scream and love the combination.Starting new upgrade soon and plan of using it to push a pair of Power T165 in center console that we customized to house. one of 3 pairs of Power T165 up front in a 94' Tahue. Those Power T142's will then be powered by RF's New PBR 300x4 along with a new pair of Power T1 1" for more highs up front. Should scream loud and clear. I cant waite for all the new upgrades, pretty much have to gut the truck out again for all new power wires, Capcells, Farad battery's, Distrabution blocks, 300 Amp altinator, Big 3 Upgrade w/ 0 Gauge wire. Probly take 3 long days but going to way worth the hard work. Thank you Rockford Fosgate for all the amazing products you produce, keep up the great work. Its sold as 50W x 2 but the birth sheets shows 87W x 2 at 4ohms. Plenty of power to run either comps or a 8" or 10" sub. I have it running my front 2 way Kicker coax's and the sound is great. Clear and plenty loud. In fact, I have the gain set at "3"!!!!!! I still have my OG Punch 150HD and its great. This little amp is no exception. Kids usually see what max watts are and buy according to that. Not rms watts. I'm running this amp bridged to one 10" Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1 in a Scosche ported box and it sounds great! The amp is rated at 50 x 2 watts at 4 ohms; 100 x 2 watts at 2 ohms; 200 x 1 watts bridged at 4 ohms. My amp came with a birth certificate that blew those numbers away......83 x 2 watts at 4 ohms; 137 x 2 watts at 2 ohms; 274 x 1 watts bridged at 4 ohms!!!!!!!!! This amp is perfect for a set of component speakers or a single subwoofer. A friend of mine is actually running two 8-ohm 10" Kicker Comp subwoofers on this amp and it sounds GREAT! |
